The construction company SABA GROUP is building a new school building at its own expense. The project also provides for pre-school institutions with a separate territory.
Comfort City residential complex is one of the first projects implemented under the new rules of development in Almaty, but it does not apply to the renovation program. For its implementation, a plot in the square of Gagarin Avenue, Druzhby Lane and Tropinin Street is used. In addition to residential buildings, the 4.3-hectare site will have a social infrastructure that will cover all the needs of local residents. According to the RAP, this site belongs to the category W-6, which implies the construction of buildings from 12 floors.

The land plot was purchased at an auction from Halyk Bank in early 2020. Until that time, the land was not used for more than 10 years, it was pledged by banks, there were 12 private houses that were not bought out by the previous owners of the land.
For more than 15 years, people have been waiting for an investor who could buy their homes for the construction of new housing. All the owners, SABA GROUP says, have already been compensated, and a detailed plan for the construction of a multi-storey residential complex is ready.
The original design called for long, solid buildings. "But, given the new trends in construction, the project was radically changed. On the recommendation of the mayor's office and the chief architect of the city, the building density was reduced by 30%, and it was decided to abandon long solid buildings, " said Yerzhan Abdikadirov, President of SABA GROUP.
This is done for the free movement of air flows, which is important for Almaty. Tower-type buildings allow air flows to pass through well and do not delay them, and due to their height, they lower the upper cold flows, thereby increasing the wind speed in the lower part of the buildings.

In addition, the construction of" towers " leaves more space on the territory to fill the yard areas. So, six football fields have already been placed in the courtyards, and residents will be able to ride bicycles on bike paths on the territory of the residential complex. And for hiking, there are separate paths with a total length of more than 700 meters.
Special attention will be paid to the landscaping of the territory, as part of the project, about 1,000 different trees and shrubs will be planted, and the courtyard with an area of 2.5 hectares will become a park area. In addition, the Comfort City project also provides for social and household facilities. For example, it is planned to place medical institutions, sports facilities, preschool institutions, supermarkets and retail areas for various types of services.

In short, the new residential complex will benefit not only the residents, but also the city.
"As part of our social responsibility, we have committed to build a new building for school No. 125, located next to the facility under construction. The building will accommodate up to 600 new students. A memorandum was signed with the Department of Education of Almaty, a project is being developed. The building will be put into operation until the construction of the residential complex is completed, " the head of SABA GROUP explained.
Within the framework of the "Zhasyl Almaty" program, the developer will be engaged in planting green spaces-both on the territory of the residential complex itself and in other areas of the city. To date, SABA GROUP has already planted more than 500 trees in Bostandyk and Turksib districts.
