ALMATY. KAZINFORM-A new residential building will be built in the historical center of Almaty, at the intersection of Tulebayev and Bogenbai Batyr, Kazinform reports.

Initially, some residents of neighboring houses were dissatisfied with the project, in particular, with the number of floors provided for buildings, especially against the background of the President's previously announced instructions to ban spot development of the southern capital. Then the pandemic started, and nothing was heard about the project for almost a year.

Now that the situation has stabilized, the developer company has returned to the issue. The project has been radically revised, taking into account the preservation of the architectural appearance of the historical center of the southern capital, as well as the wishes of the residents. A well-maintained yard with a Playground, tree planting, replacement of the roof and sewerage in the basements, new utility networks and repairs in neighboring houses. Such work is carried out by the construction holding SABA GROUP, which includes the developer company, considering it necessary to improve the living conditions not only of future customers, but also of their immediate neighbors.

"We see how it is possible to transform the block, build a house with modern infrastructure and comfortable landscaping on the site of the landfill. The social burden that we take on ourselves makes the central district of Almaty more comfortable, despite the fact that taxpayers 'money will not be spent on this," said Yerzhan Abdikadirov, President of SABA GROUP.

Initially, the project provided for two nine-story buildings, as the company focused on the neighboring nine-story building. The project also provided for a green area and recreation areas. Some residents of the nine-story building opposed the number of floors. Their wishes were taken into account in the SABA Group, and now they plan to build one five-story house along Tulebayev Street.

"This decision was made in order to preserve the historical appearance of the district and to place the building strictly in accordance with the existing development, as well as to increase the improvement area. The building will correspond to its neighbors in terms of architectural appearance. In terms of height, it will correspond to 5-6-storey residential buildings located on the eastern side of Tulebayev Street, " Abdikadirov said.

The residential building project includes 40 apartments and a large parking lot, which will solve the problem of residents of neighboring houses. 100 trees will be planted around the house, and recreation areas, a fountain, a football field, exercise equipment and playgrounds will be located in the yard area that is free of development.

The change in the project was positively received by the residents of the neighboring houses, who had lived near the vacant lot for about 40 years.

"What's wrong if an investor wants to build a beautiful, modern house and finally give us the opportunity to live in a beautiful new courtyard? We need a quiet and cozy courtyard, in which it will be comfortable to live, " says a resident of the house No. 112 on pr. Nazarbayev Gennady Gusynin.
